Ephesians 4:17-24, “This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”
The serpentine stone has been an ancient symbol of transformation and the 29th step on our journey toward a greater connection to God through Jesus Christ. Serpentine carries energies of change, growth, protection, and renewal that can help us seek direction and clarity in order to prove God’s will in our lives. As written in Romans 12:2, “do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is.” By embracing this transformation with serpentine as our guardian stone, we open up a path for deeper understanding of our purpose in life with Him.
Romans 12:1-2, “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Amidst life’s many uncertainties, one thing is certain – we all have a higher purpose to serve Christ. That is why God has given us everything we need right from the very beginning.
The serpentine stone is a great reminder of the need to be transformed from what becomes too familiar in this world. It is a beautiful reminder that when we allow the Lord to renew our minds, it leads us on a journey towards His calling, purpose, and destiny for our lives. We are reminded through the stone that in His will we can prove what has been ordained by God for us.
2 Corinthians 3:12-18, “Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech— unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.
But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Nevertheless, when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
Throughout our lives, we are constantly encountering difficult experiences and situations. In times like these, the serpentine- which is a guardian stone of transformation- can be used as a reminder that our biggest asset in life is found with God. It serves as an encouragement to not conform to what society tells us but abide by the will of God and strive to renew our minds by seeking wisdom from Him.
By engaging with this stone, we embark on a sacred journey towards finding our calling and purpose in life through Jesus Christ. Through learning more about the Serpentine- Guardian Stone of Transformation, we are equipped to experience transformation within ourselves and strive towards being followers of Jesus Christ so that we are enabled to bring His will into every part of our lives.
2 Corinthians 5:16-21, “From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
The Serpentine- Guardian Stone is known as the steppingstone of transformation, and it is the 29th step on our spiritual journey towards discovering our true calling in life through a relationship with God and Jesus Christ. In this journey we learn to no longer conform to this world but to be instead transformed by renewing our minds, so that we can truly understand and live according to the will of God.
With the help of this guardian stone, you can learn how to better align your mind and heart with your faith in order for you to fully obtain the promises from God that voice inside you is telling you; that sense inside of you telling you there’s something even greater that waits for those who choose Him.
Galatians 2:15-21, “We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
But if, in our endeavor to be justified in Christ, we too were found to be sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Certainly not! For if I rebuild what I tore down, I prove myself to be a transgressor. For through the law, I died to the law, so that I might live to God.
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.”
