Peridot- Guardian Stone of Life

Proverbs 3:1-12, “My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands; for length of days and long life and peace they will add to you. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.

Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; So, your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine. My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor detest His correction; For whom the Lord loves He corrects, just as a father the son in whom he delights.”

The 18th step on our journey of faith is Peridot, also known as the Guardian Stone of Life. This mineral has many spiritual and religious significance, it is believed that possess healing powers to ease the transition between this world and the heavenly realm. With its unique green color and iridescent sparkle, it reminds us to trust in God’s plan and follow His lead while we search for our calling, purpose, and destiny in life.

As peridot reflects in water, it serves as a reminder that our lives should also reflect what we have in our hearts. We must pursue righteousness and love to find life prosperity and honor like no other goal can bring us inner peace. Today Peridot serves as a symbol of courage for those who are embarking on their own spiritual journey through Jesus Christ for eternal reward.

Proverbs 27:17-27, “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Whoever keeps the fig tree will eat its fruit; So, he who waits on his master will be honored. As in water face reflects face, so a man’s heart reveals the man.

Hell, and Destruction are never full; So, the eyes of man are never satisfied. The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, and a man is valued by what others say of him. Though you grind a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with crushed grain, yet his foolishness will not depart from him. Be diligent to know the state of your flocks and attend to your herds; For riches are not forever, nor does a crown endure to all generations.

When the hay is removed, and the tender grass shows itself, And the herbs of the mountains are gathered in, the lambs will provide your clothing, And the goats the price of a field; You shall have enough goats’ milk for your food, For the food of your household, And the nourishment of your maidservants.”

Peridot is a green gemstone that acts as a guardian stone of life, symbolizing 18th step on our spiritual journey to find our calling in life with God. It resonates with high vibrations of love and light and encourages us to live our lives merely by following pure divine teachings. This is also what Piper mentioned in the Bible that “as water reflects the face so one’s life reflects the heart”. Similarly, integrating peridot into your life bestows those who pursue righteousness and love with divine blessings of peace, happiness, prosperity, and honor.

Proverbs 21:17-31, “He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich. The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, And the unfaithful for the upright. Better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and angry woman. There is desirable treasure, and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish man squanders it.

He who follows righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness, and honor. A wise man scales the city of the mighty and brings down the trusted stronghold. Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles. A proud and haughty man— “Scoffer” is his name; He acts with arrogant pride.

The desire of the lazy man kills him, for his hands refuse to labor. He covets greedily all day long, But the righteous gives and does not spare. The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination; How much more when he brings it with wicked intent!

A false witness shall perish, but the man who hears him will speak endlessly. A wicked man hardens his face, but as for the upright, he establishes his way. There is no wisdom or understanding or counsel against the Lord. The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance is of the Lord.”

Peridot, the 18th step in our journey toward our destiny in life with God through Jesus Christ, is said to be the Guardian Stone of Life. It is believed that this gemstone can evoke wisdom and truth deep inside your heart, allowing you to live a life reflecting your core values and authentic self. Its purpose might also be interpreted as a reminder to pursue righteousness and love to find true balance and prosperity in life. All this will result in ultimate honor being bestowed upon us if we follow this pathway when finishing our earthly journey.

Roman 8:26-30, “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He, who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”
