Ezekiel 28:1-10, “The word of the Lord came to me again, saying, “Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Because your heart is lifted up, and you say, ‘I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods, In the midst of the seas,’ Yet you are a man, and not a god, though you set your heart as the heart of a god (Behold, you are wiser than Daniel! There is no secret that can be hidden from you!”

“With your wisdom and you’re understanding you have gained riches for yourself, and gathered gold and silver into your treasuries; By your great wisdom in trade, you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches),”

‘Therefore, thus says the Lord God: “Because you have set your heart as the heart of a god, Behold, therefore, I will bring strangers against you, the most terrible of the nations; And they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom and defile your splendor. They shall throw you down into the Pit, and you shall die the death of the slain amid the seas.”

“Will you still say before him who slays you, ‘I am a god’? But you shall be a man, and not a god, In the hand of him who slays you. You shall die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of aliens; For I have spoken,” says the Lord God.’”

Rephrased, “Almighty God spoke to me again, His message was clear and said, “O son of man, this is the Lord’s decree for the ruler of Tyre:” “Despite your grand aspirations, the truth remains you are a human and not a god. Although it may feel like you can do anything, no matter how clever you might be, there is no escaping from reality. Behold! You may have wisdom beyond Daniel but there are still some secrets that are kept from even you.”

“Your wisdom and insight have served you well in acquiring a wealth of riches. Your sharp eye for trade has seen you acquire gold and silver over time, and your heart is lifted at the thought of these treasures. You have increased your fortune through clever business dealings, proving that wisdom can truly bring great wealth.”

‘So, this is what the Lord God declares: “Since you have set your mind to be as wise as a god, I will let hostile enemies from among the most barbaric nations come against you. These strangers will draw their swords against your wisdom and mar the beauty of your glory.” They shall throw you down into the Pit, and you shall die the death of the slain amid the seas.

“The Lord God has spoken that regardless of how strong or brave you may be, it is not possible to defeat death– human or otherwise. Therefore, instead of claiming to be a god, you should accept that death will come to us all and prepare for the end in an appropriate manner.’”

O Lucifer, son of the morning and King of Tyre, how you have fallen from heaven! You were once the anointed cherub who covered in glory – and yet your pride tainted heart caused your downfall. A vile serpent in Eden, you deceived humankind and caused the fall. But your rule did not end there – now known as Satan, ruler of Hell, you become a deceiver whose sinister work remains strong today in our world.

Isaiah 14:12-20, “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.

“Those who see you will gaze at you, and consider you, saying: ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities, who did not open the house of his prisoners?’

“All the kings of the nations, all of them, sleep in glory, everyone in his own house; But you are cast out of your grave Like an abominable branch, Like the garment of those who are slain, thrust through with a sword, who go down to the stones of the pit, like a corpse trodden underfoot.”

“You will not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land and slain your people. The brood of evildoers shall never be named. Prepare slaughter for his children Because of the iniquity of their fathers, lest they rise and possess the land, and fill the face of the world with cities.”

Rephrased, “O Lucifer, you have been cast down from your place in the heavens. You who weakened the nations have been brought low to the ground! 13 Your own pride has made you think that you can go up to the heavens, outshine the stars and even sit on a high mountain ruling over everyone.”

“You want to sit at the highest point of power and control in a distant land to the north. Despite your lofty ambition, you will be brought down to the depths of Sheol, the lowest reaches of the Pit. You can never achieve divine heights and will never reach such a level as The Most High.”

“Everyone that sees you will take a moment to truly appreciate and consider you, wondering: ‘Could this be the individual who made the earth shudder, who struck down kingdoms? The one who turned the world into a wasteland and deconstructed its cities, yet did not pay his prisoner’s release?’

“Rulers of the lands, both near and far, rest peacefully in their tombs, each surrounded by honor in their own tomb. Death is not a reprieve from despair as you are put to rest in an undignified manner, like a despised tree branch or an article of clothing cast aside by those slain in battle. You are sent down into an abyss and trampled on the same way one would trample over corpses.”

“You won’t be able to accompany them in death. The land has been devastated due to your actions. God will punish the wicked and wipe out the memory of their misdeeds. His justice shall prevail against those who do evil, and their names shall never be remembered. Ensure the prosperity of those who come after him and the generations to come by providing them with a prosperous future. Due to the wrongdoings of their predecessors, the possibility of them seizing control and inhabiting the land is likely. If this happens, it could overcrowd the world with cities.”

From his place at the top of Heaven’s hierarchy, Lucifer was exiled and cast out in ignominy. Anointed as a cherub who covers, the bearer of light had been transformed into Satan, to become humanity’s deceiver and ruler of Hell. Filled with pride that tainted his heart, history remembers O Lucifer as the Evil One who tempted Adam and Eve in Eden with the fruit of knowledge. He became “the son of morning” – but how did you fall from heaven?

Ezekiel 28:11-19, Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord God:

“You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created.”

“You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth amid fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you.”

“By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, and you sinned; Therefore, I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones.”

“Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, that they might gaze at you.

“You defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, By the iniquity of your trading; Therefore, I brought fire from your midst; It devoured you, And I turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you. All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you; You have become a horror and shall be no more forever.”’”

Rephrased, “In addition, I was commanded to lament for the king of Tyre. The Lord God spoke to me, saying “Son of man, cry out against him in this way: ‘This is what the Lord God has declared…'”

“You were the perfect embodiment of excellence, possessing vast wisdom and a breathtakingly beautiful appearance. You were in the Garden of Eden, surrounded by every precious stone, making you simply stunning. Adorning your beauty from head to toe are the sardius, topaz, diamond, beryl, onyx and jasper as well as the sapphire, turquoise and emerald encased in pure gold. The music of your timbrels and pipes was crafted with great care on the day you were born.”

“You were chosen and set apart in your that you might protect; I appointed you. On God’s holy mountain, you roamed back and forth among fiery stones. Righteousness marked your paths from the day of your creation until sin was found in you.”

“Your copious trading caused an increase in violence and wrongdoing within you, resulting in sin. As a result, I view you as an irreverent entity. I, the Lord, obliterated you from amongst the blaze of God’s mountain. You once were a powerful covering cherub and then I obliterated you right out of the heart of the fiery stones.”

“Your vanity made you arrogant and you thought that your beauty gave you the right to be proud, so I humbled you and placed you in a position where even Kings can look upon it. This was a lesson to show that pride goes before a fall.”

“Your sinful behavior has desecrated your holy places. You are guilty of numerous sins and transgressions due to your unethical dealings. Consequently, I retrieved a spark from your core; It consumed you and I turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you. Everyone who has encountered you among the nations were taken aback by your presence. All traces of you will soon be erased from our memories, leaving only a nightmare in its wake.”

Fear is a powerful emotion that can take over the mind and body. It can be paralyzing, creating a feeling of helplessness and dread. This fear has been harnessed by horror authors who use it to craft stories that leave readers clinging to the edge of their seats.

From spine-tingling suspenseful tales to gruesome monsters and ghastly creatures, horror has had a long history of captivating audiences. “You have become a horror and shall be no more forever” is an ominous warning of what may come for those who dare enter this dark world.

Throughout the ages, Lucifer has been vilified for being the one responsible for humanity’s catastrophic fall from grace. He was originally a revered figure: the beautiful angel of light, who symbolized knowledge and wisdom. But as his pride grew and he began to challenge God’s authority, he fell from his heavenly abode and was exiled to Hell.

He is now seen as a vile serpent; a “son of the morning” whose tainted heart caused an everlasting rift in Heaven’s perfect harmony. Yet still, many look upon him with admiration for his legendary strength and unmatched courage; qualities that are rarely seen among mere mortals. O Lucifer, King of Tyre – you were the fallen bearer of light! Your pride determined your fate, but it will not erase your legacy in history.

Revelation 12:7-12, “And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So, the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God Day and night, has been cast down.”

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

Rephrased, “The battle between Michael and the dragon in heaven came to a fierce climax. Both sides fought hard, but Michael and his angels emerged victorious as no place was found for the dragon and his angels there anymore. Consequently, the mighty dragon – the Devil and Satan who deceives the entire world – was expelled from heaven, while all of his angels were likewise banished along with him.”

“As I listened, there was a loud sound in Heaven proclaiming, “At last salvation and strength and the Kingdom of our God and the authority of His Anointed One have come. For we can be sure that our accuser, who accuses us day and night before our God, has been silenced.” Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and their own willingness to give up their lives, they triumphed over evil.”

“They testified through word and action of their commitment to righteousness, proving how deeply they cherished life even in the face of death. Let the heavens rejoice, and all those who live in them! There is great cause for alarm to be sounded amongst the people of the earth and sea – for Satan has arrived with immense anger, knowing his time here will inevitably be short.”

Lucifer, you were an angel of the highest rank, but your ambition caused you to be expelled from heaven. Through your deceitful actions in Eden, Adam and Eve were deceived by you taking on the form of a serpent. Your once-proud heart has been tainted by pride and envy. Ever since then, you have experienced a rapid and complete downfall, controlling a realm of ruins. Nonetheless, your profound craving for glory ever remains intact. It is somewhat ironic to see people refer to you as “the evil one” or Satan when it was your own words, “I will be like the Most High”(Isaiah 14:14), that set the wheels in motion.

Matthew 25:17-20, “Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”

“And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

Rephrased, “The seventy disciples were overwhelmed with joy when they returned having seen that even the demons had bowed to the power of Jesus’ name.”

“Jesus spoke to the disciples, telling them that He saw Satan fall from Heaven like lightning. He then gave them the authority to defeat serpents and scorpions and overcome all the enemy’s strength. Nothing shall be able to harm them in any way. Instead of rejoicing in the fact that spiritual forces are subject to you, rejoice in the knowledge that your names are inscribed in heaven. That is something much more important and priceless.”

O Lucifer, once you were the mightiest of angels, son of the morning and beloved of God. Rising from your throne in Heaven, you shined brightly like the stars each night. Ah, but as powerful and as graceful as we thought you were, it was your pride and vanity that caused your downfall.

You desired dominion over all creatures more than humility to God’s commands and for that you were cast out into everlasting damnation. You have been cursed with eternal night since then – no longer a bearer of light – instead causing calamity to humanity through deception until this day. Your heart is wounded by pride yet remains a force to be reckoned with even till now!

Luke 4:1-13, “Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days, He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry. And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’”

Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.” And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” Then he brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here.

For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you,’ and ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.’” And Jesus answered and said to him, “It has been said, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’” Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.

Rephrased, “After being baptized, Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness, and He was tempted by Satan for forty days without eating. When it was over, He was incredibly hungry. The devil then tempted Jesus by asking Him to turn the stone into bread. But He replied with a scripture, “Man must not merely live on bread, but on every word proceeding out of the mouth of God.” It was through this that He was able to resist the temptation of Satan.’”

Deuteronomy 8:3, “So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man, lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.”

Rephrased, “God humbled the people of Israel, making sure they knew how difficult it can be to go without sustenance. He provided them with manna, something they had never experienced before, to demonstrate that people’s lives are sustained not just by food but also by every word that comes from Him.”

Satan then brought Jesus up to a tall mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in an instant. The devil proposed to Jesus, offering to give Him all the power and honor that had been entrusted to him if Jesus would only worship him. He promised that every domain of authority would be His if He accepted. Jesus responded to this by saying, “Get away from me, Satan! The Scriptures say, ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve only Him.’”

Deuteronomy 6:13-15, “You shall fear the Lord your God and serve Him and shall take oaths in His name. You shall not go after other gods, the gods of the peoples who are all around you (for the Lord your God is a jealous God among you), lest the anger of the Lord your God be aroused against you and destroy you from the face of the earth.”

Rephrased, “It is essential to revere and worship the Lord your God, serve Him faithfully and vow in His name. Stay away from other gods and don’t worship them, for the Lord your God is a jealous God who won’t hesitate to punish you if your faithfulness wavers. Otherwise, He may become so angry with you that He will erase you from the face of the earth.”

Then Jesus was brought to Jerusalem and placed on the highest point of the temple. The devil then challenged Him by asking, “If you really are the Son of God, throw yourself off this building.”

According to the Scriptures, angels have been assigned to protect us. They will act as our shield and prevent us from any harm or injury; they will lift us, so we won’t trip or stumble even over a small rock. In response, Jesus said those famous words, “You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.” Upon completion of all temptations placed on Him by the devil, it departed until returning at a more opportune moment.

Deuteronomy 6:16-19, “You shall not tempt the Lord your God as you tempted Him in Massah. You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you. And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land of which the Lord swore to your fathers, to cast out all your enemies from before you, as the Lord has spoken.”

Rephrased, “Never challenge God like you did at the Massah place. It is important to abide by the commandments, testimonies, and statutes God has commanded you to follow. It is essential that you take these instructions seriously. Obey the Lord by doing what is right and good in his eyes. If you adhere to this principle, you will be blessed and receive the land that was promised to your ancestors – as stated by the Lord – with all its enemies expelled from it.”

O Lucifer, you were once the most revered and loved of all Heavenly Angels. You were the bearer of light, illuminating God’s presence on Earth and throughout humanity. But alas, your pride and false ambition caused you to fall from grace and be banished from Heaven. Now, as Satan, you are doomed to reign in Hell as the deceiver – an angel of darkness instead of Light. The accursed title is a fitting memorial to your tainted heart that led you astray – driven by envy and selfishness instead of humility and service to God. Your downfall serves as a reminder to us all that pride comes before a fall – may we not be tempted by our own ambition like you were!

Revelation 20:7-10, “Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.”

“They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”

Rephrased, “Eventually, after the thousand-year period ends, Satan will be freed from his imprisonment. He will try to deceive the nations in all four corners of the globe – Gog and Magog – and bring them together to fight a battle whose number is like the grains of sand in the sea.

“Heaven’s wrath descended upon the heathen as they attempted to surround the camp of the saints and their beloved city. Fire came down from God, descending upon them, consuming them utterly. For their deception, the devil is cast into an abysmal lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and false prophet already reside. They will suffer infinite punishment there, day and night, never to come out.”
