Psalms 139:1-6, “O Lord, You, have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.”
“For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, You, know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before and laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it.”
Rephrased, “Almighty Lord, You, have inspected me carefully and recognize everything about me. You are aware of my physical movements, such as sitting and standing, and my thought processes even when I’m far away.”
“Lord, You, are aware of every step I take and all that I do. Not a single word on my tongue goes unnoticed by You. Every thought is known to You even before it crosses my mind. Your protection has kept me safe on all sides. I am overwhelmed by your knowledge which is too great for me to grasp fully. It is beyond my reach and too lofty for me to comprehend completely.”
“God Almighty, the Creator is known by many names, El Olam: The Everlasting God, Abba Father: The Creator Who is Always Has, Always Was and Always Will Be, and Elohim: The Maker of Us. No matter the name we call Him, He has been around forever. He created us in His image and gave us the breath of life.”
“He has been our source of unconditional love throughout eternity, and it is His desire that we are able to give and receive love from Him eternally. Through the wonders of El Olam: The Everlasting God, Abba Father: The Creator Who Is Always Has, Always Was, And Always Will Be, and Elohim: The Maker of Us we are able to be made in such a way that can embody divine purpose as people created to bring life-giving glory to Him forever.
1 John 4:7-11, “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”
Rephrased, “My beloved, let us express our love for one another since it comes directly from God. Everyone who loves is a child of God and knows what true love really means. On the other hand, those who do not show love remain unaware of God since He Himself is all about love. God showed us how much He loves us by sending His one and only Son, so that through Him we could be saved.”
“This is true love – not the kind of love that we show to God, but the kind of unconditional love that He has for us, and which led Him to send His Son as a means of atonement for our sins. As we have been shown immense love by God, let us in turn pass on the same to our fellow human beings. Let us show our love for one another just as God loves us.”
Ever since time immemorial, the omnipresence of God has been apparent in our existence – a living proof of His never ending and everlasting presence. The Almighty God, referred to as “El Olam, Abba, Adonai, Elohim” chose to create mankind in His own image and desired a relationship between Himself and us. As He said in the scriptures “Let Us Make Man”, He wanted to bring life and love into this world through people.
This proclamation was a demonstration of how The Creator always remains active, never dwindling and staying alive from eternity to eternity. God’s declaration of “I Am WHO I AM” serves to remind us that we are made in His image and have an eternal purpose. He is the embodiment of infinite love, offering us a way to experience it through the power of Christ’s blood shed at Calvary.
As we make our way through life, this priceless gift allows us to develop an ever-growing relationship with God as our Father. This is the Everlasting Father’s most profound gift to humanity. Abba Father gave us life and love despite our flaws, which is a testament to El Olam’s power. Thus, humankind was created not only for labor but to live and enjoy His unconditional love.
1 John 3:1-3, “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.”
Rephrased, “The Father has shown us immense love, allowing us to be known as His beloved children. This astonishing gift from God makes it such that the world does not recognize us, for it did not recognize Him either. As sons and daughters of God, our destiny is to become like Him one day.
We have not yet seen what the outcome will be, yet we have faith that when Jesus is revealed, it will happen just as He said. Keeping this hope alive in us leads to purity and holiness, living up to the standards of Christ’s holiness.”
God, or I AM WHO I AM, has been the Creator of life since time immemorial. From everlasting to everlasting, Abba Father crafted us in His image and breathed life and love into us. We are His marvelous creation, a reflection of His knowledge, wisdom and power.
The word El Olam in the Old Testament refers to the ultimate source of all things; the Father, God who is, was and always will be – eternal and everlasting. He made us with great care to reflect His divine nature and purpose in this world according to His plan.
Through Elohim our lives were given meaning as we are connected to Him by nothing else but by our mutual love for one another. We may never fully understand how incredibly awesome it is that the Almighty chose us to be a part of Him ever since He created this universe; however, we can endlessly ponder on what an immense responsibility it is for us on earth occupying its existence purposely given by Him.
Jeremiah 1:4-10, “Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; Before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Then said I: “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.”
“But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.”
“Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.”
Rephrased, “The Lord spoke to me and said: “Before you were even conceived, I knew of your existence; Before your birth, I had set aside a purpose for you – to be a prophet for the nations.” Then I replied in astonishment: “Oh, Lord God! How can this be? For I am but a mere youth and cannot speak well.””
“The Lord commanded me not to be intimidated by what others may think or say. He encouraged me to speak boldly and assured me that He would be with me in whatever situation I may face. His grace was enough for me to go out into the world confidently and speak whatever words He commanded.”
“The Lord then touched my mouth and said: “I am putting My words in your mouth. I have made you ruler over the nations and kingdoms, to uproot and tear down, to destroy and dismantle, to build and plant”. This day marks a special purpose for me as I take on this responsibility.”
For centuries, it has been said that I AM WHO I AM – the Everlasting Father God creator of all things, is at the very root of our existence. This same God crafted us in his own image and breathed life and love into us. He is El Olam, Abba, Adonai, Elohim – the Creator who always has been, always will be and made us that we might live in harmony with him. He extends grace to all people through His steadfast commitment to lovingkindness and justice while looking out for our good at every turn.
Romans 8:26-30, “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He, who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”
Rephrased, “Not only that, but the Holy Spirit provides us with assistance during our moments of weakness. We often don’t know how to pray for different scenarios and are unable to express it in words, but God’s Spirit intercedes for us through these unspoken cries. God can explore the depths of our hearts and discern what is going on in the mind of the Spirit. He intercedes for us according to his divine will, providing us a means of grace.”
“We can be certain that everything happens for a reason and God makes sure that it all leads to something good for the people who love Him and align their lives with His purpose. God has predestined certain people to be like His Son, Christ. He is the first among many who have been chosen and who will follow in His likeness.”
“Those He foreknew, He also determined to be like Him. God predestined a certain group of people to be called, justified and glorified. Those who He chose, He called upon; those He called upon, He then justified and those whom He judged worthy were ultimately glorified.”
God, in his infinite wisdom, has created us in His image. He referred to Himself as “I am Who I Am” and declared that He is the everlasting Father God – from everlasting to everlasting. He is the one responsible for bringing us into this world, loving us with an unconditional love, and inspiring us to become a reflection of Him.
The name “El Olam” reflects God’s never-ending oneness and His faithfulness. Similarly, the terms “Abba” (Father) and “Adonai” (Lord) give recognition to His ultimate control of our lives, while still being understanding. Last but not least, “Elohim” celebrates both His incomparable power as well as subtle majesty which continue reverberate throughout time itself – even from everlasting to everlasting.
Romans 8:31-39, “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.”
“Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Rephrased, “Given all the facts, our conclusion is clear: If God is on our side, who can be against us? He sacrificed His own Son on our behalf so surely, He will give us whatever else we need. Who would dare to go up against God’s chosen people? Ultimately, it’s God Who will put us in the right.”
“Who can possibly condemn us? We are fortunate that Jesus Christ has died for us and rose again to be at the right hand of God. He even pleads on our behalf, making it so we don’t have to worry about reproach. Who can break the bond between us and Christ’s love? Difficulties, afflictions, persecution, famine, lack of clothing or danger―none of these things matter. As Scripture says: “We face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.””
“Despite the challenges we face, we are always victorious thanks to God’s unwavering love for us. I am certain that there exists nothing in Heaven or on Earth or anywhere else that can break the bond of God’s love for us in Jesus Christ. Neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, powers, current circumstances or future events, heights or depths can come between us and His love.”
According to the Bible, El Olam – Abba Father, Adonai and Elohim are four of many names for the Creator of all things. He created us in His image and breathed life and love into us. He is the Everlasting Father God who was there before us, has always been with us and always will be with us even from everlasting-to-everlasting. He is our Abba Father who crafted every detail of our being specifically for a purpose.
El Olam, Abba, Adonai and Elohim are not mere names but terms of an eternal truth that we must grapple with as we try to understand our place in the world. Through Him we have come to know that He has molded us in His image and imbued us with a sense of purpose beyond ourselves. This relationship provides hope even in strange times when it feels like everything falls apart; It is perennial reminder that no matter what life throws at us – God will remain faithful forever!
Hebrews 10:19-25, “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. “
“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Rephrased, “As such, our Christian brothers and sisters can approach the Holiest with confidence through the sacrifice of Jesus. He has created a fresh path for us to follow and through His flesh, we’re enabled to enter the house of God, under the rule of our High Priest. Let us approach with a sincere faith, our hearts purified from deed and thoughts, and our bodies washed with clean water. We must maintain a firm trust in God’s promises without hesitation, knowing He who promised is faithful.”
“We should encourage each other to show love and do good deeds; we should never neglect attending church together because the Day of Judgment is near. Even when times are tough, we should be there for each other and remind one another of our shared faith.”
