As Christian believers, the waiting upon God is nothing we can do for ourselves. We are called to put on the armor of faith and wear His peace like boots. so that the Lord may strengthen us through His words and guidance. God promises those who wait upon Him will renew their strength and mount up with wings like eagles. As an assurance He stores away a way in the wilderness and rivers in the dessert so that we will not faint as we strive forward in His ways.
Waiting on the Lord is a sign of trusting in His divine plan. We act in faith that the Lord will provide a way in the wilderness and rivers in the dessert. In His promises, He encourages us to put on His spiritual peace like armored boots to endure the unknown moment in our lives and knowing He will continue to provide even in the mist of our darkness seasons, trials, and storm. So that we can endure trials and tribulations with courage and strength.
The Gospel of Peace gives our foundation. We must remember to take hold of the promise of Isaiah 40:29-31, “God gives strength and power to those who are weak and lack the resources to accomplish something on their own. Even young people may experience exhaustion or defeat, yet He provides a means for them to prevail. Those who trust in God will be gifted with strength; they will soar across the sky with the same grace and power of eagles and remain tireless as they run or walk.” This passage serves as an assurance that our faith will not go unrewarded.
Waiting on the Lord brings much strength and peace. The Lord will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the dessert for those who wait upon Him. We are all called to put on our spiritual armor; the Gospel of peace gives us strength and hope even in the most difficult times. Those who put their trust in the Lord will never be disappointed because He can make all things possible. Put on your armor, my friends, and run with wings like eagles, for you will never faint!
Psalm 37:6 declares, “He will reveal your righteousness in all its glory, just as the daylight illuminates the sky at noon. Your justice will be boldly demonstrated by Him.” and Isaiah 40:29-31“He bestows upon the powerless a sense of resilience and strength. Even if the younger generations become fatigued and exhausted, they shall still have the capability to stand firm. And those who rely on the Lord will receive renewed strength and have the power to soar high in the sky like eagles. They will be able to run for longer without feeling tired and can travel long distances with no sign of fatigue.”
Jesus has called us to put on the Armor of God in Ephesians 6, making sure that we are shielded from the evil forces of this world to live our lives seeking righteousness and pursuing holiness. With the armor equipped, the believer can endure trials, tribulations and temptation knowing that God has equipped them for such a time as this. To further strengthen those who wear their armor, we are admonished to shoe our feet with gospel peace which gives believers an assurance that someday a way will be made even in the wilderness and rivers will flow in dry places. Put on your armor child of God!
As Christians, every follower of Jesus must put on the Armor of God in order to battle against demonic forces that are out to steal, kill and destroy our spirits. This piece of scripture highlights the significance of being well-equipped with the Boots of Peace so that we can be able to stand firmly rooted in our faith and trust in Christ amidst all evils.
When we allow the Holy Spirit to guide us, the Lord will make a way for us even in seemingly impossible situations; when we lay down our struggles and wait on Him, He will pour out his strength upon us enabling us fly as high as eagles and sprint unhindered towards fulfilling His call for our lives.
The Bible calls us to put on our armor and prepare for battle! Just as a soldier prepares for war, Christians must equip themselves with the Armor of God. The Lord calls us to trust in Him and await His provision. When we wait on the Lord and seek His ways, He will renew our strength so that we may mount up with wings like eagles, run without fatigue, and make paths in the wilderness. Shod with boots of peace provided through the gospel message, we will be confident as we walk in faith toward victory.
