Bloodstone- Guardian Stone of Faith
Hebrew 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
As the nineteenth step on our spiritual journey towards God’s plan, faith is an integral component. The bloodstone is often referred to as the guardian stone of faith because it’s used to help strengthen and strengthen one’s confidence in God while asking for His blessings. The stone is a reminder of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice, which gives us hope and redemption.
According to Matthew 21:22 “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” This should give us reassurance and confidence whenever we approach God with our requests – especially those that are rooted in genuine belief and trust in Him.
Matthew 21:18-22 “Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry. And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away.
And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?”
So, Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
As we come to the 19th step of our journey to fulfill our calling, purpose, and destiny in life with God through Jesus Christ, it is important for us to remember in faith and love the work that we do. The bloodstone–or Guardian Stone–reminds us of somethings beyond our capabilities: steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Hope is found not only within ourselves but with Him and His will for us. As we continue walking through life’s sometimes difficult roads, this unique gemstone serves as a reminder that even though the road may be rough, its end lies with a better future given by God through grace.
1 Thessalonians 1:3-5, “We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God. For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men, we were among you for your sake.”
The 19th step on our journey toward our calling, purpose, and destiny in life with God is found in the Bloodstone – the Guardian Stone of faith. The Bloodstone reminds us of the work of faith and labor of love that we have placed before our Father in Heaven. It stands as a symbolic representation for the steadfast hope we have placed not only within our hearts but have our Lord Jesus Christ as well.
This stone aids us in protecting and honoring that symbol of faith which blesses us with guidance and trust throughout each moment of existence. In this way, the Bloodstone provides a reminder to stay devotedly connected to our hope, both externally in the actions we stand with and internally through being open to the inner promises kept safe within waiting hearts.
James 1:2-8, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
The bloodstone is one of the 19 essential stones on our journey to fulfilling God’s calling and purpose in our lives. This stone symbolizes faith, love, and hope, reminding us that this is what will ultimately lead us to our destiny. With these qualities firmly etched in our hearts, we can keep walking closer towards God and now that He has sent His own son Jesus Christ. He enabled us to remain steadfast even when life throws its challenges at us. Bloodstone gives us the strength to continue believing in Him so that we can fully devote ourselves towards our calling under His guidance.
